Hello everyone! My name is Sofija and I am a second year at Oriel College. This year I am lucky enough to take up the role of OUSBMS President. This means that I will be responsible for bringing interesting and engaging speakers to talk to our members, set up elections, regularly update you on all Biomed-related news, coordinate the work of the committee, and much more! The OUSBMS has been a very welcoming and intellectually stimulating environment and I look forward to another year of science and wholesomeness! Make sure you let me know if you have any suggestions and ideas for the future course of the society and looking forward to seeing you on one of our events!
Social secretary
Hi I’m Lizzy and I’m a first year at New College! My role as social sec includes planning crew dates, bar crews, events and the finalists dinner. I am interested in many aspects of biomed and business, including the heart, hormones and metabolism.

Hi! I’m Xinhu Zhang, the alumni officer of OUSBMS, and I’m from St Hugh’s College. My interests mainly lie in experimental psychology and neuroscience. Hopefully I can sometimes get some fascinating photos out of the lab to share with all of you (which I really want to) without being blamed by demonstrators : )

Hi my name is Tooki and I’m a first year in Exeter College. As the current secretary of OUSBMS I am responsible for general admin stuff and keeping our members informed about Biomed-related talks and events through newsletters.
Welfare Rep
Hello! I'm Alvina, a second year from Corpus Christi. As the Welfare Rep, I'm excited to organise welfare events like Week 5 welfare tea/picnic and other things that will make life a little happier for Biomeds (like compiling an options feedback form). Hi everyone I’m Melissa and I’m a second year Biomed from Exeter College. As Treasurer I aspire to keep our membership log and account clear and secure, and raise enough funds for the exciting events we host throughout the year. I am especially interested in interdisciplinary biomedical research, as well as the role it plays in industry and the wider society. I look forward to meeting those of you with similar interests at our future events!
